Cairo - Aswan - Luxor - Hurghada - Alex: Enjoy a life-changing Fortnight in Egypt!

After enjoying breakfast, energize yourself for a visit to the Great Pyramids, home to the sole surviving Ancient Wonder of the World, the Great Pyramid of Khufu. You will also have the opportunity to marvel at the Pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure, admire the grand Sphinx up close, and explore the sacred Valley Temple, which served as the burial place for several Egyptian Pharaohs. Additionally, you will have the chance to explore the Djoser Pyramid at Saqqara, the first pyramid ever constructed.

Begin the day with breakfast before heading to the Egyptian Museum to explore ancient monuments and artifacts. Following this, savor a delightful lunch at a nearby restaurant, where the next stop is the captivating Hanging Church in Old Coptic Cairo, dating back to the 3rd Century AD. This unique church gives the impression of being suspended, as it was constructed atop the water gate of the Roman-era Babylon Fortress. Ending these gems with a leisurely walk through the charming and historic Khan el Khalili market.

Being the Aswan discovery at the High Dam, showcasing remarkable Egyptian architectural beauty, and the Unfinished Obelisk, originally planned to be the largest of its kind. Following this, prepare to marvel at the island temple honoring the goddess Isis, known as the Temple of Philae.

The historical journey comes to another stop at King Ramses the Second’s great creations: Abu Simbel Template, the Great Temple, built in memory of himself, and the small temple he built for his wife, the queen Nefertari, along with the Four Colossi. These are as unique as can be, a testimony of power and love for generations to come. Ending the night by starting the awaited Nile cruise!

The cruise begins from Aswan to Luxor, passing by Kom Ombo Temple, which is a unique double temple dedicated to two deities: the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Har wer (Horus the Elder). You’ll also admire the Edfu Temple, built as a dedication to the ancient Egyptian God Horus.

Resume the cruise with the Valley of the Kings, the burial site of the rulers from the Eighteenth, Nineteenth, and Twentieth Dynasties of Egypt's flourishing New Kingdom (c. 1550–1069 BC). Next, head to Queen Hatshepsut's Temple to witness her legacy in life and trade, and then admire the monumental Colossi of Memnon, two colossal statues from the 18th Dynasty of Pharaoh Amenhotep III.

After breakfast, you’ll be visiting the Karnak Temple, the largest religious temple complex in Egypt, and the astonishing Luxor Temple, which was constructed by great pharaohs such as Amenhotep III, Tutankhamun, Horemheb, and Rameses II.

And with that, the cruise comes to an end as you head back to the airport for a safe trip to Hurghada!

Upon your arrival at the aquatic wonderland, or as known as Hurghada, you get to choose from various aquatic activities, from diving and snorkeling among vibrant coral reefs with rare and beautiful fish to windsurfing, sailing, or deep-sea fishing to live the full Red Sea experience!

Explore Alexandria’s Catacomb of Kom el-Shokafa, a unique 2nd-century A.D. tomb complex. And Pompey's Pillar, a towering monument from 297 A.D., enjoy a delicious seafood lunch at a local restaurant before discovering the Citadel of Qitbay, built in 1480 and rumored to be constructed from stones of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria.
